This Path

Walking around, stumbling
Looking back, seeing
This path of curses
Black and dead
Dying a little more each day
Being distanced from the sanity inside the head.

Blindingly leading the multitudes
Gaining their trust to deceive them

And they don't know

They just keep walking
Being able to see all around them
It's the blind leading the sighted
The gifted, as it were.

No one cared to tell them
